Guzmania 40 cm.

Very easy plant to care for and can be kept beautiful for a long time even in bad environmental conditions. Guzmania, in nature, is an epiphytic plant: it means that it lives anchored to the bark of trees without putting the roots into the trunks, and therefore without parasitizing them. 
After weeks or months, the floral part withers but at the base new shoots are formed which can be detached and replanted in universal soil.
